Andy and Katie's journey began with a bold move to Annandale, Minnesota—a place they would soon call home and invest their hearts into. With Andy’s background in contracting and home building, he constructed their first home, laying the foundation for their future ventures.

Their entrepreneurial spirit took off when they opened Southbrook Grill, a restaurant that quickly became a local favorite. Running the grill gave them the opportunity to connect with the community, learning firsthand what mattered most to the people of Annandale. Inspired by this experience, they set out to make an even greater impact.

In 2015, Andy and Katie opened Billy D’s Crooked Tavern, a bar in downtown Annandale named in honor of Andy’s late father. Built on family values and a strong sense of community, Billy D’s quickly became the go-to spot for both lively celebrations and relaxed weeknights. Whether it’s hosting live music on weekends or serving up great food and drinks to families during the week, Billy D’s has become a true local staple.

As the business grew, so did their vision. With the addition of golf simulators and axe-throwing entertainment, Billy D’s has become more than just a bar—it’s a hub for fun, excitement, and bringing people together.

Beyond Billy D’s, Andy has continued to make an impact. In 2022, he successfully designed and built another home in Annandale, which sold quickly, reinforcing his passion for keeping the community thriving. Looking ahead, Andy and Katie remain dedicated to creating spaces that bring people together, whether it’s through entertainment, hospitality, or building new opportunities in central Minnesota.
